 Spacious, air-conditioned guestrooms are topped with ceiling fans and furnished with light-colored furniture. Bright colored bedspreads complement matching cushions on two chairs. Sunset Royal - All Inclusive amenities include Aquarium - The hotel's main restaurant, Aquarium is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, beginning at 6:30 AM with Continental breakfast. A buffet breakfast follows at 7 AM until noon. For lunch and dinner there are both buffets and ? la carte choices. All meals feature an international menu. Atrium - This restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and in the evening becomes an intimate Italian dinner house, with a resort-wear dress code and reservations required. Chitquita Banana - Right on the beach, this restaurant serves a 100% natural breakfast and an a la carte menu for lunch with specialties in Sea Food and Steaks. Snack Bar - This poolside snack and bar area serves light foods and drinks from 11 AM until 5 PM. Lobby Bar - Open from 5 PM until 1:30 AM, this bar serves cocktails and tropical drinks. Live music after dinner. Room service is part of the All-Inclusive Plan and is available from 7 AM until 10:30 PM daily.

What to expect: Guests come here for the hotel's moderate prices, unlimited food and drink, and all-day, all-evening activities. Every evening the hotel's energetic entertainment staff presents a show in an open-air theater, preceded by a theme buffet dinner. Daytime activities include water aerobics, giant-piece chess tournaments, beach soccer, balloon "wars," fashion shows, bartending and cooking lessons, pool volleyball, and belly flop contests. After dinner there's live music in the lobby and nightly group visits to a Canc?n nightclub. Amenity highlights: Shaped like a figure 8, a good-sized pool is part of an expansive terrace on a low bluff just above a white-sand beach fronting the Caribbean's warm, turquoise water. Spaced around the pool are lounge chairs. Shaded hammocks offer respites from activity in a secluded area overlooking the sea. Insider tip: As part of the All-Inclusive Plan, guests are welcome to dine and drink at the Royal Sunset's sister hotel, the Sunset Lagoon All Inclusive, attend the Sunset Lagoon's nightly shows, and participate in activities there. The Sunset Lagoon is located on Nichupt? Lagoon, which is about 2.5 miles away, with complimentary shuttle service between the hotels.
