 Guestrooms are exceptionally spacious and gracious and have a cool, elegant Mexi-Caribe ambience, each distinguished by a lighted wall-recess containing a Mayan-theme sculpture. Marble bathrooms include a stall shower but no tub and have orange marble vanities. Each room contains a desk and chair. Room windows face the quiet street in front of the hotel. Across the street, half-hidden in foliage and visible from room windows, is a Mayan ruin, a reminder of the region's history and culture. Rooms are only available in the Continental Plan, which includes room accommodations and a complimentary buffet breakfast. Standard - Rooms include complimentary buffet breakfasts at the hotel's restaurant. They offer two double beds and accommodate a maximum of three guests.

What to expect: Seclusion, tranquility, warm hospitality, sun, sand, warm water, light surf, and as much, or as little, activity as desired. Amenity highlights: The kidney-shape pool is not expansive but ample for the number of guests at the small hotel. It includes a narrow infinity edge looking directly at the island of Cozumel 12 miles away across the blue sea. Lounge chairs around the pool and on the beach are padded for comfort. Umbrellas provide shade. The beach?as fine as sugar and nearly as white?stretches north a half-mile to Playa del Carmen and more than a quarter-mile south before another hotel is encountered, offering lots of room for solitary beach-walking. For taking advantage of the sea, the resort provides complimentary use of boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and kayaks. Bicycles for touring Playa del Carmen and Playacar are also complimentary.
