Amenity highlights: An immaculate sunning lawn runs along the oceanfront and then spreads into an enormous, roughly round swath that comprises the resort's entire northern end. A small, lovely garden sits in the swath's center, and here and there coconut palms lean against the tradewinds. This pure-green area buttresses the resort's atmosphere of splendid isolation.

Insider tip: Experts, suitably armored against coral, pick their way through the rocky point in front of the resort to prime snorkeling and scuba-diving water.
