What to expect: Loud music and an energetic activities/entertainment staff that encourages participation and presents four nightly shows weekly pumps up the fun. Topless sunbathing is allowed. But there are quiet places, also, including a deep beach that offers an unbroken mile for jogging and strolling. Amenity highlights: Sundecks around two pools offer plenty of sunbathing space. Activities such as morning stretching and water aerobics and sexy afternoon games are confined to one pool area. The other, a "quiet pool," features a shallow section containing lounge chairs for sunbathing and a swim-up bar. Theme-buffet dinners, including a dress-up formal evening and a party on the beach, are offered nightly. There also are weekly disco-dance and meet-the-staff cocktail parties. Insider tip: An enormous supermarket offering a vast array of fresh bakery items lies just a block from the resort.
