    La Casita Blanca - Located on the beach, this casual spot serves hamburgers, hot dogs, and other fast food from late morning until just after dark.

    Pueblo Principe - This Dominican-style shopping/entertainment village located just inside the resort's entrance includes a karaoke bar, a live-music rock bar, a disco bar, and a casino bar. All remain open all night, or until the last customer leaves.

    Principe - Located in Pueblo Principe, this restaurant specializes in lobster. Food and drink here is not part of the All-Inclusive Plan and must be purchased separately.

    Heladeria - This ice-cream parlor in Pueblo Principe is not part of the All-Inclusive Plan, and items must be purchased separately.

    Internet Caf? - Offering Internet connections, coffee drinks, sandwiches, and sweets, this spot in Pueblo Principe is not part of the All-Inclusive Plan.

    Los Nudos - This casual place serves juices and non-alcoholic beverages next to the main pool.

    Cabaret - This bar is located in an open-air theater where shows are presented nightly by the resort's staff.

    La Cana - The lobby bar remains open until 11 PM.

    The resort includes four beach bars under thatch-roof palapas.

    What to expect: The 941-room resort attracts guests from Europe and North America intent on having a good time in the tropical sun. The energetic activities/entertainment staff has no trouble recruiting participants for group fun, and a lively atmosphere prevails.

    Amenity highlights: Turquoise water lapping the mile-long beach stays calm thanks to giant sand bags forming man-made reefs. The long sand bags serve as sunbathing platforms and social centers. Vigorous guests also perform belly slides on them. Three pools and two children's pools offer water fun. At 11 PM, the lane running through Pueblo Principe, the shopping/entertainment village, is closed off for a street party that might rock until dawn.

    Insider tip: Drinks at Pueblo Principe's casino are not part of the All-Inclusive Plan. Savvy imbibers bring along drinks from the street party going on outside that is part of the All-Inclusive Plan. Aerobics classes
