 The Anse Chastanet Resort features 49 individually designed bungalows of various configurations. The Standard and Superior rooms can accommodate a maximum of three guests. Rooms are not air-conditioned, but instead are designed so that air flows naturally throughout. Also intentional is the lack of radios, televisions, and telephones in the rooms: the outside world cannot intrude on your solitude and quiet. Other room amenities include clay or hardwood floors, ceiling fans, ensuite bathrooms, glass or wooden jalousie louvre windows, furnishings crafted out of local woods, and fabrics of cotton madras (the island's ?national cloth?).
